Email is an essential part of the internet computing experience, and it is also a feature that comes with your Verelink hosting package. If you have a domain such as "www.childrenbook.org" then the emails that you could set for yourself would be in the form "webmaster@childrenbook.org." Once you create the email account, setting both the name and password, you will be able to check your account through Webmail and the POP3 protocol. Webmail allows you to check email through your internet browser, and POP3 allows you to check email with external clients, such as Outlook or Thunderbird.
Step 1: Create the mail account in Cpanel
This process is fairly straightforward. We will enumerate the steps for creating an account below.
A. Login to your account Control Panel
B. Click on the "Mail" icon that is in the top-left corner of the control panel.
C. Click on "Manage/Add/Remove Accounts."
D. Click on "Add Account."
E. Set the username/password and the space quota for your account, and click "Create."
That is all - the next step will show you how to check your newly created email.

Step 2: Access your account via Webmail
This is one of the ways you can access your email. If your domain name is "childrenbook.org" then enter "childrenbook.org/webmail" into your browser. If you put "/webmail" at the end of your domain, you will be able to access the webmail interface. You will prompted to login. Here, use the username and password that you created in step 1. For the username, be sure to include the "@childrenbook.org" as part of the username. So if you are checking your account "webmaster" with the password "superpass," you will have to login with "webmaster@childrenbook.org" with the password "superpass." Once you login, you will see a screen like the one below. There are 3 webmail clients you can choose from. You can choose whichever one suits your taste. When you click on the logo, you will be able to access your webmail. Once you are logged in, the system is similar to many other webmail sites, such as Micrsoft's Hotmail or Yahoo Mail.

Step 3: Access your account via POP3
You can also access your account through an external client like Outlook or Outlook Express. We will demonstrate how to set up an account with Outlook in this example.
A. Go to Tools > Email Accounts > Add a new e-mail account > POP3
B. Here you have to enter your account information. Enter you name, email address, and the username and password.
The username should be username@chidrenbook.org, such as "webmaster@chidrenbook.org," and enter the password as provided in step 1.
(If your e-mail client has trouble using a @ sign in the username, you can use +, :, or % sign instead.)
C. For the incoming and outgoing mail server, use "mail.childrenbook.org" for both fields.
Replace "chidrenbook.org" with your domain of course.
D. Click "More Settings.." to enable SMTP Authentication in your E-mail client or you may not be able to send mail.
Select "Outgoing Server" tap and check the box "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication"
E. Click "Test account settings" to make sure that everything is working correctly. It will run 2 tests, and each one should return a green checkmark. You should now be able to send and receive emails.
